Halloween and surfing are completely intertwined if you think about it. There are so many different options of halloween costumes that can come from the surfing world. Furthermore, it’s easy to be creative and not spend a ton of money on a costume, which is an issue becoming more and more present every year. Using a surfing costume is easy, fun, unique and best of all – it allows you to lean into the sport that you know and love! This one won’t be as scary as it would be if you were in the water, but nonetheless it’s a classic-and it’s definitely one of the scariest surfer costumes! Finding a shark costume isn’t hard, either. Not to mention, if you’re going to be outside it can get pretty cold-a shark costume like this one is sure to have some fuzzy material to keep you warm.
Costume #2 : A Lifeguard
You can be everyone’s saving grace at the beach! A 5 piece lifeguard halloween costume can be found here on Amazon for $14. This idea is a classic, and everyone will know exactly what you are. If you’re trying to meet people, it will be an easy way for others or for you to crack jokes as well. Not to mention, maybe some of the gear you get will come in handy one day! You never know.
Costume #3 : An Actual Surfer
This option is truly the best of the surfer costumes if you’re a surfer and you want everyone to know it. Get one of your summer suits, put it on, and like the shark costume affords-you’ll be warm all night. Just make sure it isn’t too tight because moving around in it all night won’t be fun if it is.
