Wheels N Waves has had the privilege of getting some thoughtful, impactful people behind the camera in the action sports industry. We’re hoping to get another episode out by the end of the week with a super interesting guest who we really look forward to having in the shop! To give those of you who haven’t been following along a brief recap of who we’ve interviewed, this post will quickly catch you up to speed and hopefully get you excited enough to watch the next one – and maybe check out the old episodes as well. In our first episode, we had Beau on who talked about his work in the skateboarding non-profit world and how the sport provides amazing benefits to kids – especially for boys and girls who aren’t as into organized sports. Second, we had on Elise who worked at Wheels N Waves forever before she became an engineer who has traveled the world working for artificial wave pools. Thirdly, for our first Zoom episode behind the camera we interviewed Anthony, founder of All I Need skateboards and professional skateboarder. After that, we brought on Dennis who founded Bern helmets – a product we carry in the shop made by a company with deep roots in outdoor action sports. Most recently, we had the WRV (find their boards in the shop) crew with Wes (who’s a longtime friend of Wheels N Waves) and his buddy Timmy. All in all, each conversation has been awesome, and our guests have given thoughtful answers to deep questions. Definitely put on one of the episodes next time you’re on a walk or a long drive, and I promise you’ll enjoy it!
